Job summary

Georgia‑Pacific in Bradford, PA is seeking a Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technician to join our corrugated manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot, install, align, and maintain industrial machinery to improve reliability and uptime.

This is a full-time, 12-hour shift role on a 2-2-3 rotation (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), with a starting pay of $33.44–$38.85 per hour plus a $1.25 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Experience with conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience aligning motors, couplings, bearings, pumps, and lubrication systems.
• Electrical experience including PLCs, motors, and drives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery to improve uptime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to identify issues before failure.
• Enter and manage work orders in CMMS.
• Support production and quality goals through a strong maintenance program.
• Work shifts as business needs require, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Starting Pay

• $33.44–$38.85 per hour, depending on experience
• $1.25 per hour shift differential for night shift

Shift

• 2‑2‑3, 12‑hour schedule

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to identify and correct mechanical issues before failure.
• Complete daily preventive maintenance tasks as directed.
• Partner with operations to maximize machine availability and performance.
• Follow all plant safety and environmental policies and actively participate in safety programs.
• Support production, waste reduction, and quality goals through a strong maintenance program.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Enter and manage work orders in the CMMS system.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience working with conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience aligning motors, couplings, bearings, pumps, and lubrication systems.
• Electrical experience, including PLCs, motors, and drives.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Three (3) or more years of electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment or a Technical Diploma (or higher) in Industrial Technology.
• Experience with condition‑based monitoring, including vibration analysis, lubrication, ultrasound, and thermography.
• Experience working with Siemens PLCs.
