Seneca Resources is seeking a Night Shift Multicraft Maintenance Technician in Birmingham, AL. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment including robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to keep production running smoothly.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $32–$40/hour, a $5,000 sign-on/stay bonus, and a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting with PLCs and schematics.
• Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and drawings.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
• Knowledge of rigging and basic AutoCAD.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and willingness to overtime.

Position Description:

Join a leading heavy manufacturing facility as a Multicraft Maintenance Technician. In this full-time, permanent role, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment including robotics, PLCs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, root-cause analysis, and ensuring maximum production uptime. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, a $5,000 sign-on/stay bonus, and a supportive team environment committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Top Requirements:

• Extensive experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and working with controls and PLCs
• Mechanical maintenance proficiency, including hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters
• Knowledge of rigging and basic AutoCAD skills
• Ability to work extended hours and lift up to 40 lbs
• Demonstrated team orientation, excellent attendance, and availability for overtime
