Job summary

All Metals is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Spartanburg. This role focuses on keeping electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems operating safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, repair components, and support production by reducing downtime. The position offers a first shift, overtime, and on-site interview with pay range $24–$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Familiar with machine operations.
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Experience in maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, blueprints.
• Basic PLC knowledge for diagnostics.
• Experience welding, torch cutting, and plasma cutting.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic tools (thermal, multimeter, ammeter).
• Familiar with hydraulic systems and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance manager with maintenance tasks.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) systems.
• Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using observation and measurement tools.
• Repair and replace defective parts with hand/power tools.
• Inspect parts with calipers and micrometers; adjust components.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
• Maintain maintenance records in software.
• Prepare maintenance reports by summarizing information.
• Support production by reducing downtime through PM practices.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
