Laborup is seeking a true Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to keep our highly automated production operations running. You will work across mechanical and electrical disciplines, with a focus on PLCs, ladder logic, and robotic CNC cells, while troubleshoooting real-time breakdowns and performing precision mechanical work.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults under pressure.
• Strong PLC literacy and ladder logic comprehension.
• Exposure to robotic CNC cells and automated handling systems.
• Comfort working across multiple PLC platforms and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot under pressure and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on highly automated machinery.
• Electrical & PLC diagnostics – read ladder logic and troubleshoot diverse PLC systems.
• Robotics & automated cells support, troubleshooting CNC machining cells and robotic arms.
• Precision mechanical maintenance on CNC mills, grinders, conveyors, and handling systems.
• Perform high-precision machine alignment for critical components (ball screws, rails, fixtures).
• Maintain hydraulic & pneumatic systems, pumps, cylinders, valves, and regulators.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Document work performed, downtime causes, and parts usage; hand off clearly to shifts.
