Job summary

Hunter Bond seeks a Cloud Engineer for a trading firm. Role can be remote from anywhere in the US with occasional travel to Chicago; alternatively, it can be based out of Chicago on a hybrid schedule.

You will design, build and secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, GCP and AliCloud with IaC, automation, and cost management at the forefront. Strong emphasis on observability, monitoring and incident response for trading services.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud environments with AWS focus; Azure/GCP/AliCloud desirable.
• IaC and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, APIs, CI/CD, GitOps.
• Strong cloud networking knowledge: VPCs, routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, interconnectivity.
• Security focus: IAM, encryption management, secrets management, least privilege.
• Observability, monitoring, alerting, and cost models.
• Trading or financial services background is highly desirable.
