Job summary

SAIC in Princeton, NJ seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead critical initiatives across infrastructure, systems architecture, and software engineering. You will steer end-to-end delivery, align with NOAA/GFDL goals, security standards, and operational excellence, while forecasting timelines and removing blockers.

Responsibilities span cloud, networking, API integrations, databases, SDLC delivery, DevOps, and ITSM governance.

Qualifications

• IT project management experience overseeing cloud, infrastructure, and / or security projects.
• Understanding of network engineering, system integrations, APIs, and multi-cloud strategies.
• Expertise in SDLC methodologies and IT financial management.
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD practices, cybersecurity standards, and ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud, infrastructure, and networking projects across providers and on-prem networks.
• Manage system integrations via RESTful APIs, SOAP, webhooks, and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Drive SDLC delivery using Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, and SAFe scaling frameworks.
• Coordinate CI/CD, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, and ensure security hygiene and regulatory compliance.
• Lead IT governance, ITIL processes, change management, incidents, SLAs, and post-deployment support.
• Manage IT Capex vs. Opex, cloud costs, licenses, and vendor relationships.
