Job summary

Omni Family Health in California's Central Valley seeks a Dental Office Manager to lead the dental department across multiple clinics. You will oversee front and back office staff, manage scheduling, billing, and compliance, and partner with leadership to maintain high-quality patient care.

Travel to Omni clinic locations is required as part of this role; CPR and infection control certifications are required, along with experience in Dentrix/NextGen and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification preferred.
• 8 Hour Infection Control certification and radiation safety training are required.
• Knowledge of dental insurance codes, claims processing, and billing software.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dental office operations for multiple Omni clinics.
• Lead front- and back-office staff; ensure high-quality patient care and timely tasks.
• Manage hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, performance reviews, onboarding, and discipline.
• Ensure front office efficiency: patient processing, scheduling, phone etiquette, and coordination.
• Ensure back office efficiency: exam room prep, patient intake, assistance, and treatment administration.
• Handle billing, insurance claims, POS, coding, and budgeting tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records compliant with regulations; respond to subpoenas as needed.
• Conduct inventory management and liaise with Purchasing and vendors.
• Monitor customer service and resolve patient complaints; support Omni events and outreach.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and senior leadership on QI/QA initiatives.
