Job summary

American Management Association (AMA) is seeking a Graphic Designer to turn briefs into engaging visual concepts across print and digital channels. You will manage projects from concept through production and final delivery, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.

You’ll translate marketing objectives into compelling visuals, collaborate with Creative Services, Marketing, and Product teams, and explore emerging design trends and AI tools to elevate the work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience across print and digital.
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, typography, layout and brand application.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Experience designing multi-page publications and digital assets for ads, email, web and social media.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines with project management tools.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills, including handling feedback and creative direction.
• Interest in emerging design technologies and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design across channels: direct mail, catalogs, brochures, advertising, email, web, social media, presentations and more.
• Translate briefs and objectives into smart, engaging visual concepts.
• Own the production process from layout through final delivery for print and digital materials.
• Drive concept through revisions, production, and delivery.
• Turn complex content into clear, compelling visual communications.
• Strengthen the AMA brand while evolving creative output.
• Collaborate with Creative Services, Marketing, Product and other teams.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality.
• Explore new design trends and AI-assisted tools to improve work.
