Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Multi-cert NDT Technician (RT/MT/PT/UTT) for an embedded, full-time role in the Lima, OH area. The position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) with relocation assistance, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and per diem opportunities for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, performing tests to detect defects, interpreting results, and ensuring safety and compliance per specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Level II RT.
• Level II MT, PT, UTT, and VT certifications.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Per client requirements you must pass a hair follicle test going back 90-120 days, plus periodic random testing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
