Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking Multi-cert NDT Technicians (RT/MT/PT/UTT/VT) to support our Milwaukee, WI operations. The majority of work is in a lab setting with minimal call outs.

Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants. Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, interpreting results, and potentially supervising others. A successful candidate will have Level II NDT certifications and a strong background in NDT methods

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Certified Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT/VT in any combination is desired.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, VT (any combination)

• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
