Job summary

Acuren is seeking NDT Level II Technicians (MT/PT/UTT) for travel-heavy work in Brookfield, WI and surrounding areas. The role requires up to 75% travel across WI, IL, MN, IA, IN, MI and NE, with assignment in diverse environments including refineries and pharmaceutical facilities.

Qualifications

• NDT knowledge and testing experience required.
• Ability to document and report results clearly.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Experience interpreting NDT results and evaluating indications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for examination while ensuring safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT/digital readouts and conductivity meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and supervise others as needed.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a NDT Level II Technicians (MT/PT/UTT) to support operations in Brookfield, WI and surrounding areas.THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.

Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 75% throughout WI, IL, MN, IA, IN, MI and NE. (Environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries and Pharmaceuticals.)

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II MT/PT/UTT
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
