Job summary

Acuren is seeking NDT Level II Technicians in Neenah, WI to support operations locally with travel up to 50% across surrounding areas. Positions cover RT/MT/PT/UTT/VT combinations in Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chem, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries, Pipelines and Pharmaceuticals.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, conducting tests to detect defects, reporting results, and possibly supervising

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred in NDT or related field.
• Certified Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT/VT (any combination) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination with safety compliance
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 50% throughout Neenah, WIand surrounding areas. (The environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chem, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries, Pipelines and Pharmaceuticals.)

• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
