Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Multi-Certed NDE Level II Technician to join our Industry Services team in Houston/Clear Lake as a part-time project-based employee. The role focuses on UT-Thickness, MT and PT inspections, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The position requires 3+ years field experience, TWIC, a valid State card, and the ability to train Level I staff. You’ll work on diverse asset integrity projects and report results to clients while maintaining Intertek’s standards.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II certification in UT-Thickness; MT/PT is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of field NDT experience.
• TWIC Card and valid State card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASNT Level II testing and inspection in UT-Thickness; MT/PT.
• Set up, calibrate equipment, and interpret results per codes and specs.
• Train and guide Level I personnel on the job.
• Organize and report NDT results.
• Maintain client, vendor, and internal communications with a professional attitude.
• Pursue ongoing technical education courses.
