Job summary

Halifax Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult Health Float Pool to provide safe, high-quality nursing care across multiple Halifax Health campuses in Daytona Beach, Port Orange, and Deltona. The role requires floating to assigned units based on staffing needs.

Qualified candidates hold an active Florida RN license, a degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred), and at least three years of acute care experience. BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license valid in Florida.
• Eligible to work in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Develop individualized care and education plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and delegate to staff.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across campuses.
