Job summary

SBH Fashion in New York seeks a Controller to oversee accounting and financial reporting for all brands across the portfolio. You will lead the transition to QuickBooks and coordinate with the outside CPA to ensure accurate financial records and compliance.

The role requires strong experience managing accounting for multiple brands, robust internal controls, and excellent financial analysis skills to support the CFO and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing accounting for multiple brands or entities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; system transition experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Oversee monthly and annual closes, reconciliations and financial reporting across all brands.
• Support budgeting, cash flow management and financial analysis in partnership with the CFO.
• Lead the transition to QuickBooks and maintain accurate financial records.
• Establish consistent accounting processes and internal controls across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with the outside CPA on tax preparation, compliance and year-end reporting.
