Qualifications

• G Code programming for milling and turning
• CAM software proficiency for toolpath generation/editing
• CNC machine setup including tooling, offsets and work holding
• GD&T interpretation from technical drawings
• Toolpath optimization to reduce cycle times and improve finishes
• Machining troubleshooting to diagnose programming/tool/machine issues
• Process documentation with setup sheets and parameter logs
• CAD model analysis for manufacturability and clearance checks
• Understanding material properties for cutting parameters
• Clear cross-functional communication with engineering and operations

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for milling/turning based on drawings and CAD data.
• Support machine setup with tooling, fixtures and work holding.
• Optimize machining processes by analyzing cycle times and tool life.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and adjust code or parameters.
• Maintain and update CNC program libraries and records.
