Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. is hiring a Multi‑Axis CNC Mill Operator‑Programmer in Memphis, TN. On-site, full-time role focusing on turning complex GD&T drawings into finished parts using 3‑4 axis VMCs (Haas/Fanuc) and 5+ axis capabilities.

You’ll read blueprints, edit CNC programs, set up tooling, and verify features with precision metrology. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CNC machining, strong shop math, and the ability to work on-site in Memphis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC).
• 5+ years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read CNC programs and complex prints.
• Foundational mechanical knowledge and shop math.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour training; forklift certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling centers to manufacture precision parts.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to plan machining steps.
• Make minor edits to CNC programs and adjust speeds and feeds.
• Perform setup and tooling changes with supervision.
• Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and a CMM to validate features.
• Load and unload workpieces using an overhead crane safely.
• Contribute to routine machine maintenance and keep a clean area.
• Assist with component assembly using hand and power tools.
• Complete required quality documentation and support team goals.
