Cornerstone Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Multi Axis CNC Lathe Programmer for a Direct Hire position in Johnson City, TN.

The role offers a four-day work week with a long weekend, competitive pay ranging from $25 to $40 per hour based on experience and education, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC lathes, reading blueprints and GD&T, and ensuring quality through inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience programming and operating Multi Axis CNC Lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc and HAAS CNC controls.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Strong computer and CNC programming skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Multi Axis CNC Lathe machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Input design specifications into CNC programming software
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools for production
• Modify machine settings to meet product specifications and tight tolerances
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work independently while meeting production deadlines

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking a hands-on CNC professional for a Direct Hire opportunity in Johnson City, TN. • Monday–Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

Pay

• From $25.00–$40.00/hour

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical or vocational machining education preferred
• At least 5 years' experience as a Multi Axis CNC Lathe Programmer required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
