Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist & Setup Specialist in Leander, TX.

You will review work orders, translate specs into tooling plans, and configure 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes for production and prototype parts with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include setting up tooling/fixtures, performing first Article inspections, and keeping parts within tolerance through in-process checks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in machining and 3+ years with CNC equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate multi-axis lathes and mills.
• Produce production and prototype parts with minimal supervision.
• Interpret work orders for material, tooling, and tolerances.
• Independently set tooling and fixtures.
• Perform periodic and in-process inspections to hold tolerances.
• Operate Haas or DMG Mori controls and edit programs during setup.
