Job summary

Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, LLC in Century City, Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Trader to work closely with the advisor team to execute equity, fixed income, ETF, and mutual fund trades across client portfolios. This role blends order execution, portfolio management support, investment operations, and client-service alignment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, and demonstrates excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 1–5+ years in trading, investment operations, or portfolio implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, order types, and workflows.
• Experience with RIA custodians (Schwab, Fidelity) preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades accurately across multiple asset classes per directives and guidelines.
• Assist advisors in reviewing portfolios, implementing model changes, and managing cash.
• Monitor market conditions, trading workflows, and best execution practices.
• Coordinate with custodians to resolve trade or account issues.
• Maintain trading logs, compliance documentation, and transaction records.
• Support investment models and portfolio implementation processes.
• Communicate trade status and market impacts to the advisor team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
