Job summary

CapTech is seeking a Mulesoft Architect to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality enterprise integrations and API‑driven solutions. You will work with clients to understand needs, advise on architectural direction, and lead delivery across the full SDLC in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross‑functional teams, mentorship of architects and developers, and ongoing learning through internal programs and training to stay at the forefront of middleware and integration

Qualifications

• 10+ years software development experience.
• Experience with MuleSoft 4.x at a high architectural level.
• Project experience with MuleSoft Integrations.
• Extensive knowledge of Integration patterns.
• Experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio.
• Ability to design APIs and publish to Anypoint Exchange.
• Familiarity with designing APIs in RAML.
• API Development using REST and/or SOAP.
• Experience integrating Enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP a plus.
• Experience with relational databases and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with LLMs in production settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver a technical solution that meet the unique needs of our clients.
• Partner with clients on cross‑functional, team‑based projects to deliver scalable MuleSoft solutions across the full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, managing architectural scope while aligning solutions with business goals.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, setting clear expectations and guiding decisions.
• Create quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences.
• Leverage CapTech’s internal programs and self-directed training to continually develop industry relevant knowledge.
• Mentor architects and developers through architecture reviews and communities of practice.
• Participate in technical pre‑sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and delivery scoping for prospective clients.
• Gain exposure to a variety of clients, business models, and industry verticals.
