Experis is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Mulesoft SME) to join an enterprise MuleSoft integration team in Raleigh, NC. The role is hybrid with onsite presence required two days per week, on a 12-month contract with competitive $50-$60/hr W2 pay, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT BSA and hands-on API integration experience, especially with MuleSoft or similar platforms, and strong REST/SOAP/data-mapping skills. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT BSA experience, esp. API integration.
• Document middleware & API management requirements; MuleSoft preferred.
• Strong REST, SOAP, Web Services, and data mapping knowledge.
• Investigate backend systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document requirements for middleware integrations and API management, with MuleSoft or similar technologies.
• Support product team by gathering business requirements, conducting competitive analysis, and assisting with product design.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions, including data mapping, system diagrams, and validation of integration approaches.
• Investigate backend systems such as mainframes to troubleshoot and verify data using SOAP UI.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet objectives and standards.
