Job summary

Centric Consulting is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Architect (Mid) to design and implement API-led integrations and services across banking and enterprise platforms. The role emphasizes scalable, secure integrations and collaboration with architecture and analytics teams.

The position supports hybrid work arrangements in Columbus, OH or Atlanta, GA, with 25%–50% travel between offices and occasional travel to Nashville. MuleSoft expertise and banking tech experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, RESTful and web services.
• Experience with data transformation and API-led connectivity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, RESTful services, web services, and event-driven integrations.
• Build reusable API-led integrations and orchestration that connect core banking systems and enterprise apps.
• Contribute to integration architecture and design for scalable, secure solutions.
• Partner with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply API security, governance, and development best practices.
• Participate in design discussions, peer code reviews, and troubleshooting within an Agile delivery environment.

• Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, RESTful services, web services, and event-driven integrations.
• Build reusable API-led integrations, transformation logic, and orchestration processes that connect core banking systems, digital platforms, treasury applications, and other enterprise technologies.
• Contribute to integration architecture and solution design, helping ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with established technical standards.
• Support application modernization, merger, and conversion initiatives. Partner with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to turn requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Apply API security, governance, and development best practices.
• Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, troubleshooting, and solution improvements to strengthen quality and consistency across integrations.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment, participating in planning, refinement, reviews, and other delivery ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and help identify practical solutions to technical challenges across interconnected applications and services.

Who You Are:

• You have hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• You understand APIs, RESTful services, web services, integration patterns, data transformation, and API-led connectivity.
• You enjoy solving technical problems and translating requirements into practical integration solutions.
• You’re a collaborative communicator who works effectively with both technical and business partners.
• Experience within banking or financial services technology is a plus.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant professional experience. MuleSoft certifications are a plus.
