Job summary

Centric Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Integration Architect – MuleSoft to design and implement API-led integrations across core banking systems, digital platforms, and treasury applications in a hybrid Columbus/Atlanta setting.

You'll work hands-on with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, creating scalable APIs, reusable integrations, and secure solutions while collaborating with Solution Architects and Business Analysts in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of API-led connectivity, REST and web services.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; MuleSoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MuleSoft APIs and integration services.
• Create reusable API-led integrations and orchestration.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and standards-aligned.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts in an Agile setting.
• Support modernization, mergers, or system conversion initiatives.

In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, designing APIs and reusable integration solutions that connect core banking systems, digital platforms, treasury applications, and other enterprise technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to modernization, merger, and system conversion initiatives while expanding your architecture experience.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, RESTful services, web services, and event‑driven integrations.
• Build reusable API‑led integrations, transformation logic, and orchestration processes that connect core banking systems, digital platforms, treasury applications, and other enterprise technologies.
• Contribute to integration architecture and solution design, helping ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with established technical standards.
• Support application modernization, merger, and conversion initiatives.
  Partner with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to turn requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Apply API security, governance, and development best practices.
• Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, troubleshooting, and solution improvements to strengthen quality and consistency across integrations.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment, participating in planning, refinement, reviews, and other delivery ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and help identify practical solutions to technical challenges across interconnected applications and services.

Who You Are:

• You have hands‑on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• You understand APIs, RESTful services, web services, integration patterns, data transformation, and API‑led connectivity.
• You enjoy solving technical problems and translating requirements into practical integration solutions.
• You’re a collaborative communicator who works effectively with both technical and business partners.
• Experience within banking or financial services technology is a plus.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant professional experience. MuleSoft certifications are a plus.
