Job summary

Steampunk seeks a Mulesoft Developer to design and implement API integrations using the Mulesoft platform. You will work with DevSecOps teams to connect data, services, and systems while ensuring security and compliance for government-related projects.

Responsibilities include developing APIs, documenting environments, and providing technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should have cloud experience, strong scripting skills, and proficiency with Salesforce integrations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
  • BS Degree in IT or BS in a non-IT field with 2+ years IT experience.
  • 3 years of experience with the MuleSoft platform including AnyPoint Studio, CloudHub 2.0, MuleSoft 4.6+.
  • 3 years of experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • 3 years of experience with Git SCM providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • 3 years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
  • 3 years of experience with Salesforce Integrations.
  • 3 years of experience with Cloud and Hybrid Integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft platform across a broad range of software tasks.
  • Document current environment, perform gap analysis, and produce options and recommendations.
  • Create technical docs detailing integrations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Engineer and implement solutions with ongoing improvement for services provided.
  • Identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, and develop fixes.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and translate to developers.
  • Test and review code written by others and analyze results.
  • Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide status updates.

We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services,understandingbusinessrequirementsand implementingcomplex integrations.You will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate businessrequirements into well‐architected solutions that bestleveragetheMulesoftplatform.

Contributions

Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs and integrations usingtheMulesoftplatform acrossa broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
  • Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
  • Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
  • Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
  • Identifytechnical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
  • Test and examining code written by others and analyzing results
  • Ensurethat systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members
  • Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $170,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
