The role emphasizes ensuring sample integrity, reporting, and effective communication with client representatives while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or Applied Sciences required.
• Previous Mud Logger / Mud Logging Analyst experience preferred but not essential if degree qualified.
• Previous field-work experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sample integrity; analyze, interpret and report in the End of Well Report.
• Communicate information on well control and well integrity to client representatives.
• Maintain and analyze the volume balance sheet during well site operations.
• Alert Data Analyst to discrepancies in formation evaluation or gas analysis.
• Detect and monitor potential well control situations.
• Design an accurate formation evaluation log per the client's format.
• Follow safety regulations as specified by the Client and relevant authorities.
• Suggest improvements to service quality and communicate opportunities.
