Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an MTSS Facilitator to support district and school efforts to access and use data to meet targets and milestones. You will work with district MTSS teams, school leadership, teachers, and student services staff to strengthen school-wide MTSS systems, processes, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education is required.
• 3-5 years experience in a K-12 educational setting.
• One year in a role related to training, professional development or conducting presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes for universal screening and administration of diagnostic assessments.
• Ensures identified students receive standard protocol interventions.
• Develops school-wide processes for student progress monitoring.
• Reports on screening and intervention rates quarterly or more frequently to MTSS leadership.
• Creates and monitors data entry into district platforms for progress monitoring.
• Prepares quarterly reports aligned with the district's Strategic Plan.
• Attends district PD on data use and MTSS implementation.
• Collaborates with school leaders to identify improvement plan goals.
• Accesses Navigator Portal reports to support continuous improvement.
• Provides PD and coaching on using data to drive decisions.
• Facilitates school-based PLCs to support data-informed instructional planning.
• Supports teachers with data-informed planning and action steps.
