Job summary

Bachelor's degree and Texas teaching certificate with ESL endorsement required; three years of classroom teaching experience

Qualifications

• TEKS and ELPS knowledge and standards for assigned area.
• Curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and refinement.
• Knowledge of effective instruction and evaluation methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes.
• Skill in collecting, analyzing, and using data to support student learning.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support through coaching cycles with teachers and professional development.
• Conduct classroom observations to ensure fidelity of MTSS model.
• Set student-centered goals with teachers for coaching cycles using district data.
• Demonstrate strategies in classrooms and collaborate with teachers on effectiveness.
• Provide feedback from walkthroughs and regular PD to staff.
• Support campus in implementing tiered interventions and SEL/RTI initiatives.
