Bastrop Independent School District in Bastrop, Texas seeks a MTSS Coach for the 2026-2027 school year to lead school-wide MTSS integration and provide job-embedded professional development. The role focuses on classroom management, RTI, social-emotional learning, restorative practices, data-driven coaching, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and committees.

Bachelor's degree and Texas teaching certificate with ESL endorsement required; three years of classroom teaching experience

Competenze

TEKS and ELPS knowledge and standards for assigned area.
Curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and refinement.
Knowledge of effective instruction and evaluation methodologies.
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes.
Skill in collecting, analyzing, and using data to support student learning.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Mansioni

Provide instructional support through coaching cycles with teachers and professional development.
Conduct classroom observations to ensure fidelity of MTSS model.
Set student-centered goals with teachers for coaching cycles using district data.
Demonstrate strategies in classrooms and collaborate with teachers on effectiveness.
Provide feedback from walkthroughs and regular PD to staff.
Support campus in implementing tiered interventions and SEL/RTI initiatives.
