Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage common support areas, extend furniture lifecycle, and maintain data for space usage reporting. You will perform basic admin duties for mail, copies, and office supplies, supporting a clean, productive client workspace.

Daily tasks include inspecting furniture, submitting work orders, relocating items as needed, and reporting facility issues or safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of job-related experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs+.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Visit common area spaces daily to compare furniture to reference photos and restore placement.
  • Check furniture items for condition; submit work orders as needed.
  • Relocate missing items and report space usage changes to FPoC.
  • Identify safety issues and report to Maintenance Tech or Supervisor.
  • Assist with mail, copy/supply areas and basic admin tasks as needed.

Job description

As a CBRE Maintenance Coordinator, this role includes but is not limited to the management and coordination of common support areas within assigned site(s) to ensure productive and inviting client workspace, extend furniture lifecycle, and record data for furniture and space usage reporting. Responsible for all basic administration of incoming and outgoing mail. Ordering and stocking of mail and office supplies in Mail room as well as Copy/Supply Areas. Basic troubleshooting for copiers and replenishing of consumables.

  • Visit common area spaces on a daily basis to compare furniture to reference photo and restore to standard placement.
  • Check each furniture item for condition and function noting dirty or damaged item(s). Submit work order as necessary.
  • Straighten furniture to match reference photo.
  • Search for, relocate, and restore/reposition missing item(s) to designated area(s) or note for their removal.
  • Review space for any obvious facility issues (e.g., lights out, stain on carpet/furniture, door issues, areas in need of vacuuming, etc.). Submit work order.
  • Report any safety issues to Maintenance Tech, Workplace Experience Coordinator or Supervisor.
  • Report space usage changes (e.g., removal, additions) to FPoC.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and manage work orders through a CMMS.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Coordinator position is $40,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Coordinator position is $40,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
