Job summary

Paycom - ATS Material Handler I (Shop Helper) in Houston, TX is a full-time role supporting the machine shop by assisting with robotic machines, loading and unloading pieces, and placing finished materials on pallets for shipment.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, a stable manufacturing history, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential; overtime may be required according to the schedule.

Job Summary

Perform an array of functions to assist machine shop personnel.

Job Description

• Assist with upkeep of robotic machines; consisting of adding coolant and oil
• Load and unload finished pieces from robotic machines
• Placing finished materials on pallets for shipment
• Keeping shop floor clean at all times
• Assisting shipping department
• Observe necessary safety precautions
• Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
