White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville, AZ is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform all laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate manner under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

The full-time night shift offers benefits and a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care. Minimum six months MT experience and a current MT certification with BLS within 30 days of hire are required.

Job description

The Medical Technologist (MT) is a clinical position responsible for performing all Laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner in accordance with applicable standards of care and practice, as well as, in accordance with White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Laboratory Department policies and procedures. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, it strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the MT exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to complete Laboratory procedures.

This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in relate field of studies
• Completion of certified Medical Technologist program
