Job summary

California State University, Dominguez Hills seeks a highly qualified MSW Internship Program Manager in SSP/AR 1. This temporary full-time exempt role reports to the Direct Practice Supervisors and leads the MSW internship program within Health & Well-Being.

The Manager coordinates site hosts, oversees supervision, ensures CSWE compliance, and drives program outcomes while collaborating with campus partners and addressing staffing and resource needs. This is an on-site position in CA.

Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Two years of related experience required.
• Experience supervising graduate students or similar professionals.
• Experience in program coordination, field education, or student affairs.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and lead program operations.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of CSWE competencies and field-education requirements.
• LCSW licensure preferred or eligible in CA.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the MSW internship program day-to-day.
• Provide supervision to MSW interns; weekly individual and group sessions.
• Recruit, place, and match internships with site hosts; monitor capacity.
• Assess program outcomes, quality assurance, and ongoing needs.
• Coordinate with campus partners and stakeholders; manage resources.
• Plan the end-of-year internship showcase and report on outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
