Nemours Children's Health seeks a Master’s Level Social Worker to deliver clinical social work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This casual position covers evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, with the ability to work independently while managing complex psychosocial situations.

The ideal candidate has strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and capacity to make critical decisions with minimal supervision.

Competenze

Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
LMSW/LCSW licensure in Delaware required.
Minimum 6 months social work experience.

Mansioni

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients and families with complex medical or psychosocial needs.
Identify risks, barriers to care, and appropriate interventions using advanced clinical judgment.
Assess safety concerns including abuse, self-harm, domestic violence, and substance use.
Independently manage high-volume caseloads and respond to emergent patient needs.
Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and resource coordination.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop patient-centered care plans.
Facilitate referrals to community resources and behavioral health services.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR with timely updates.
Demonstrate sound decision-making in rapidly changing situations.
