Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work and is licensed or will be licensed within 6 months of hire. Preference is given to applicants with 1–3 years of acute care experience, joining a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work is required.
• Licensed by the State of Texas, or obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the care and service of the patients, promoting quality care, effective utilization of resources, and assuming a leadership role with the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired goals and resource outcomes.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of services and working collaboratively with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Providing therapeutic counseling for patients, families/significant others, as well as members of the interdisciplinary team to enhance coping and functional skills.
