Job summary

Merrimack College invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. The successful candidate will deliver instruction on-campus or online, manage course activities, assess and grade, and mentor students, with emphasis on social work practice and human rights.

Courses include evening offerings and asynchronous options. Required MSW (CSWE-accredited) and ability to teach late afternoon/evening classes; prior MSW teaching preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program or equivalent.
• Ability to teach both in-person and online MSW courses.
• Experience with course management including assessments and grading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction effectively in online or on-campus MSW courses.
• Manage course activities including assessments and grading.
• Provide mentoring, supervision, and advising to MSW students.
• Adapt teaching to late afternoon/evening schedules (after 4 pm).
