The Instructor/Operator (I/O) Team Lead provides training support services for the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC), conducting medical instruction and skill validation for the 68W Combat Medic in line with standards established by the US Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) and related authorities. The role involves instructing a diverse group of soldiers across all MOSs in various settings including classrooms, simulation labs, and field environments.
Normal working hours are Monday through Sunday, 0800 - 1700, excluding Federal Holidays, with a maximum of 40 hours per week and a one-hour unpaid lunch daily. The I/O Team Lead will utilize approved POIs and simulation scenarios to conduct training, which include courses like MEDIC, BLS, ALS, PALS, EMT, NRP, Combat Life Saver, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, among others.
This role involves working in classroom, lab, and field environments, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching. Visual and manual dexterity are also necessary.
