NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking a maintenance technician to support wafer fab subassemblies and subfab equipment. You will perform PMs, clean and rebuild components, and follow strict 5S and safety practices.

You will also handle chemicals and ensure consumables for rebuilds while maintaining detailed written procedures. The role requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to read and follow procedures in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of equipment maintenance and/or parts management preferred.
• 3-5 years wafer fab experience with production equipment preferred.
• Excel knowledge for data entry and tracking.

Responsabilités

• Rebuild and clean subassemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Follow and improve WSS documents.
• Complete Post Maintenance Qualifications and checks.
• Support subfab equipment.
• Handle chemicals to ensure consumables for rebuilding sub-assemblies.
• Maintain mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Create and follow written procedures with attention to detail.
• Understand electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily tasks will include rebuilding and cleaning subassemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Following and continuous improvement of WSS Documents.
• Completed Post Maintenance Qualifications and checks.
• Support of subfab equipment.
• Chemical handling ensuring an adequate supply of consumables for rebuilding sub-assemblies.
• Candidate must possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Candidate must be detail oriented and able to create and follow written procedures.
• Candidate should have an understanding of electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and experience maintaining 5S organization within maintenance or parts management environment.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirements are High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2-3 years of previous equipment maintenance and/or parts management is advantageous.
• Prefer 3 to 5 years of related wafer fab experience with an emphasis on production equipment.
• Microsoft Excel knowledge for data entry and tracking.
