Job summary

IPRO is seeking a Level 3 Systems Engineer to lead complex MSP projects, mentor staff, and drive infrastructure improvements. The role requires expert troubleshooting across Windows, AD, VMware, and Fortinet ecosystems.

You will onboard clients, design and maintain enterprise infrastructure, and collaborate with leadership on process enhancements. Hybrid work is offered with on-site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in MSP or equivalent IT infrastructure role.
• 2+ years of senior-level deployment and troubleshooting experience in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated SME capability in at least two areas (Networking, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, or AD).

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and onboarding of new MSP client environments.
• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Provide advanced escalation support to Help Desk and Systems Administrators.

Position Summary

The Level 3 Systems Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for leading complex projects, supporting MSP clients, mentoring junior technical staff, and driving process improvements across the organization. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, advanced troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to serve as a subject matter expert in key infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, onboard, and deploy new MSP client environments


• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions


• Provide advanced escalation support to Help Desk Technicians and Systems Administrators


• Mentor team members and contribute to skill development across the department


• Conduct advanced network and systems troubleshooting


• Implement tools, documentation standards, and processes to improve operational efficiency


• Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to identify and implement process improvements


• Participate in escalations as needed (primary on-call rotation is handled by Help Desk and Systems Administrators)

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an MSP environment or equivalent IT infrastructure role


• 10+ years of hands‑on IT support experience


• Senior‑level experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting:
