Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse.
• Master's degree in nursing or DNP.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care as RN or APN.
• Excellent organizational, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage details and problem solve in a complex environment.
• Experience fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach in clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings using evidence-based practice and adult learning principles.
• Ensure complete/assigned clinical hours.
• Attend course planning meetings as directed by the Clinical Course Coordinator.
• Ensure students meet compliance requirements for clinical sites by due date.
• Provide timely feedback on student progress.
• Coordinate with Clinical Coordinator and Program Director.
• Travel to Johns Hopkins SON and clinical facilities in the Baltimore-Washington area.
• Review patient log and verify time log in EXXAT.
