Job summary

UVA Health in Northern Virginia seeks a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our Community Division. The role covers the full spectrum of musculoskeletal imaging across multiple facilities and promotes close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine and rheumatology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Interpret MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiographs of extremities, joints, spine and pelvis.
• Perform image-guided procedures including joint injections, aspirations and biopsies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and provide consultative expertise.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine, rheumatology, oncology and PCPs.
• Share in clinical scheduling and call responsibilities with occasional center coverage.
