  • Perform and interpret image‑guided musculoskeletal procedures, such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences (e.g., orthopedic oncology, sports medicine, rheumatology) and provide consultative expertise for referring physicians and technical staff.
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, oncologists, and primary care providers to ensure the highest‑value use of imaging studies.
  • Share in the division's clinical schedule and call responsibilities, with occasional coverage at the Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center.
Service & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Contribute to divisional quality improvement, workflow optimization, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Participate in peer review, protocol development, and marketing/recruitment efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with technologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure high‑quality imaging protocols and timely service.
  • Support a culture of collegiality, inclusivity, and respect across the Division and UVA Health.
  • Help advance the professional reputation of UVA Radiology in the communities we serve.
