Job summary

MSHH Donor Closet is seeking a Driver for DME deliveries and pickups. You will represent the Donor Closet, schedule and confirm appointments by phone in a professional, friendly manner, and document pertinent information.

You will review delivery requests for date/time, perform loading, delivery, unloading, and setup of equipment, and provide necessary paperwork with signatures. You will also manage vehicle maintenance and assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Represent the Donor Closet to the public when scheduling/confirming deliveries by phone in a professional, friendly manner.
• Document pertinent information during delivery and pickup.
• Review delivery/pickup requests to confirm date/time and environment suitability.

Responsibilities

• Review Donor Closet delivery and pick-up requests before scheduled appointment to ensure date/time established.
• Perform deliveries including loading, delivery, unloading, set up, and explanation of equipment.
• Provide customer with appropriate Donor Closet paperwork and obtain signature prior to leaving residence.
• Provide tax receipt as requested.
• Complete regular maintenance checks of vehicles including engine, tires, storage area.
• Takes MSHH van for repair, tune-up when needed.
• Assist with routine warehouse duties (receiving, stocking, and cleaning) donations.

• Review Donor Closet delivery and pick-up requests before scheduled appointment to ensure date/time established, environment check (house/apartment, steps/elevator etc.).
• Perform deliveries including loading, delivery, unloading, set up, and explanation of equipment.
• Provide customer with appropriate Donor Closet paperwork for delivery or pick up; obtains signature prior to leaving residence; provides tax receipt as requested.
• Complete regular maintenance checks of vehicles including engine, tires, storage area as assigned. Takes MSHH van for repair, tune-up when needed.
• Assist with routine warehouse duties (i.e. receiving, stocking, and cleaning) donations.
