Responsibilities

• Safely operate a donation pickup vehicle, following all traffic rules and regulations.
• Follow pickup routes efficiently to maximize donations and minimize travel time.
• Communicate with donors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Load and unload donated items into the pickup vehicle.
• Ensure donated items are handled with care and securely packed.
• Maintain a clean, organized pickup vehicle and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Keep accurate records of donations, including item descriptions and donor information.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the organization positively.
• Report extraordinary or valuable donations to management.
• Follow health and safety protocols when handling potentially hazardous materials.
• Unload items at the store or sorting area and keep them organized for processing.
• Stay informed about the organization’s mission and goals to effectively communicate with donors.
