Job summary

RiseMe in Nashville seeks a Vice-President and General Manager to oversee Safety, Environmental Compliance, Quality, Production and Cost across all manufacturing processes. You will ensure production objectives are met efficiently while preserving consistent quality, and report directly to the President.

This role directs plant operations, drives strategic planning, ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental guidelines, and leads staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Five years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of the plant's manufacturing operations including production, manufacturing engineering, facilities/equipment maintenance, and other manufacturing support function.
• Directs the development and implementation of the division’s long-term strategic plan.
• Ensures that quality, health, safety and environmental compliance guidelines are implemented.
• Responsible for the management and development of support staff to ensure business growth and integrity.
• Ensures continual improvement of productivity, quality, service, safety and environmental compliance within the division.
• Responsible for developing and training implementing systems to measure important elements at the plants and to reward and discipline responsible parties.
• Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and communicating Company values and policies to customers, suppliers, all associates, and the community.
• Assists in researching market trends and geopolitical factors to inform planning.
• Advises on corporate budget planning and forecasting.
• Active in trade organizations as a public face of the company.

Job description

The Vice-President and General Manager is responsible for Safety, Environmental Compliance, Quality, Production and Cost as it relates to the manufacturing processes. The Vice-President and General Manager must assure that the organization’s production objectives are efficiently achieved while maintaining consistent quality requirements. This position reports directly to the President.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Directs the activities of the plant's manufacturing operations including production, manufacturing engineering, facilities/equipment maintenance, and other manufacturing support function

1. Directs the development and implementation of the division’s long-term strategic plan.
2. Ensures that quality, health, safety and environmental compliance guidelines are implemented
3. Responsible for the management and development of support staff to ensure business growth and integrity.
4. Ensures continual improvement of productivity, quality, service, safety and environmental compliance within the division
5. Responsible for developing and training implementing systems to measure important elements at the plants and to reward and discipline responsible parties.

7. Conducts Extensive research on market trends
8. Monitors geopolitical headwinds, tariffs, etc.
9. Assists sales in preparing competitive bids using our latest material cost and conversion costs
10. Advises on corporate budget planning and forecasting
11. Active in in trade organizations as a public face of the company
