Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a Med Surg unit, including telemetry monitoring.
• Participate in self-scheduling and float as needed.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Unit will accept 1st time travelers
• Locals accepted / Rate difference applicable
• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry
• Certifications: BCLS

Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience:

• Certifications: ACLS, NIH

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:6/7 during normal staffing, up to 1:7 during high census or critical staffing
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week; no OT until after 48 hours if 48 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45 - 07:15
• RTO: 7 days max for Aya auto offer
• No block scheduling; self-scheduling with NM creating schedule
• Float required as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Patient diagnoses: Med surg (no longer accepting cardiac telemetry patients)
• Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Unit orientation: 24 hours
• Scrubs: Navy and/or White
