Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education preferred
• Appropriate Professional Educator's License (PEL) preferred
• High School Diploma required, with related coursework/experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce a high-quality talent show or festival performance, focusing on student-centered instruction and providing opportunities for students.
• Implement researched-based instructional strategies engaging all students and differentiating for varied abilities.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, administrators, teacher colleagues, and community leaders.
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior; motivate students to their highest potential.
• Coordinate lighting, sound design, and other show production needs; supervise equipment.
• Arrange and coordinate auditions, publicity, and graphics for programs and posters.
• Arrange and coordinate parent volunteers and staff workers; manage rehearsal and performance schedules.
• Maintain finances for the production and ensure paperwork is on file (media releases, etc.).
