Qualifications

• Virginia teaching license or eligibility (Middle/Secondary SPED)
• Experience with IEPs and integrated services preferred
• Data-driven instruction and progress monitoring experience

Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum review and design.
• Implement a variety of instructional strategies aligned with objectives.
• Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Plan programs of study to meet individual needs.
• Create a conducive classroom learning environment.
• Assess student accomplishments and provide progress reports.
• Refer students for related services as needed.
• Collaborate with department and grade-level teachers.
