Position Title: Middle School Science Teacher - Long Term SubDepartment: P-8Reports To: Principal of P-8FLSA Classification: ExemptFTE (Full-Time Equivalent): 100%Schedule of Duties: 10-Month; beginning January 4, 2027 through June 11, 2027Salary: $82,000- $173,502 annual/salary depending on level of education and experiencePosition Purpose: The science teacher is responsible for all aspects of creating a dynamic learning environment for students and will also serve as a middle school advisor.Specific Expectations for P-8: In addition to regular teaching responsibilities—such as curriculum planning, class preparation, grade reporting, report card narratives, parent-teacher conferences, supervision duties, classroom substitution, advisory, elective teaching, office hours, and participation in class trips and retreats—P-8 faculty and staff are expected to contribute to the broader school community and support program growth and service opportunities.
