Job summary

Waymo LLC in Mountain View, CA, invites graduate students to join our Software Engineering internship. You will work on core simulator functionality and metrics for evaluating internal models used in safety validation of the Waymo Driver.

You will collaborate with leaders across robotics, perception, and deep learning, gaining hands-on experience building backend software for robotics and contributing to our autonomous driving program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in model evaluation and developing metrics.
• Experience developing models and writing backend software for robotics.

Requirements
