Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care within our medical group practice. You will perform lab work and venipuncture, ready patients for exams, and assist providers with exams and procedures.

This position requires graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing and a current Florida LPN license. No prior experience is required; 2+ years of related experience is preferred. TMH is an equal opportunity employer emphasizing safety and support.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and treatments as ordered and coordinate patient calls/walk-ins in emergent situations.
• Support other functions of the medical group as needed.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role you will assist in providing nursing care to the practice patients; help maintain the functions of a medical group practice; provide direct patient care by doing lab work and venipuncture; readying patients for exams; assisting providers with exams and procedures, and administering injections and treatments as orders. Coordinates patient calls/walk-ins in emergent situations. Assists in other functions of the medical group practice as needed. Tasks performed are in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation.
